How do I import local resources and crisis support resources?

Pro Tip: Create a folder on your computer called "Waves Importing Files" where you can save these files.

Importing Local Resources

Note: If you are unsure of the insurance type accepted by a resource, just type "Visit their website for more information."

  • When logged into your Waves Network, go to your navigation sidebar and click on "Local Resources".

  • In the upper right area, you will see three buttons: Export, Add Local Resource, and Import.

  • Click on "Import"

  • A screen will pop-up requesting you to upload the "Waves Local Resource Spreadsheet".

  • Because you don't have this yet, click on the text below the "Upload" button to download the "Waves Local Resource Spreadsheet".

  • Open the file on your computer.

  • Provide the requested information on each local resource. You can copy and paste this information from other sources, just make sure you paste it with no special formatting and that it is pasted as "plain text" - very important.

  • For all websites, copy and paste the exact domain from your web browser, including "https://" at the beginning of each website link - very important.

  • Do not include any hyphens (-) between number digits - very important.
